Welcome to Northwestern University Department of Art History. We are proud that our department ranks in the top ten nationally. Undergraduates may major or minor in Art History, and the department has a thriving Ph.D. program. Because Art History is inherently interdisciplinary, every student will find something of interest in our curriculum. In our courses, you may renew and deepen a prior interest, or engage with totally new material.
