Advising

The Undergraduate Advisor (also called the Director of Undergraduate Studies) is the key liaison between students and the rest of the faculty, college and university. In our department, the Undergraduate Advisor (DUS) works in conjunction with the Committee on Undergraduate Affairs to oversee all advising, curricular, and other issues. Art History students are encouraged to consult early and often with the advisor or with other members of the committee, especially prior to each period of registration.

Are you considering a major or a minor in Art History? Did you take a course and love it and are you looking for a logical follow-up course? Are you keen on studying art history abroad? Would you consider writing an honors thesis in art history? Are you a major or a minor and interested in internships and other opportunities? Please contact the DUS, Christina Kiaer, or one of the members of the committee to set up an appointment soon!
