MINOR > Advising

The minor program is supervised by a faculty committee chaired by the director, Mark Witte. The program office is located at 2010 Sheridan Road on Northwestern University's Evanston, Illinois campus.

To Declare the minor

A minor in BIP may be declared by students who have successfully completed two of the prerequisite/core courses.

The minor can be declared during BIP's daily walk in advising hours. Students will meet with a BIP adviser to complete a course planning form (available in the office). Students should bring an unofficial copy of their transcript and a copy of their resume to the advising office.

To Petition to graduate

Graduating seniors who plan on completing the minor MUST include BIP on their petition to graduate form. Please meet with your major adviser prior to coming to the BIP office. Students should bring an unofficial copy of their transcript to the advising office.
