For Accepted Students
Students accepted to CFS are required to meet with Karen Allen, Assistant Director to discuss their career interests, competitive resumes, the process of searching for an internship and interviewing. Prior to this meeting, students should review the internship descriptions and previous students’ evaluations of their internship experiences posted on our website to help them identify their top ten preferred internships. The resources to the right may help students identify additional internships and compete for these desired experiences.
Please note that CFS programs begin the 1st day of the quarter with a CFS Orientation. Chicago Field Studies runs through Finals week. Orientation is required, and students who do not attend will not be allowed to participate in the program. Final papers are due towards the end of Exam Week, and students often meet individually with their instructors at the beginning of this week to receive additional feedback. Students are required to attend all CFS classes and activities, from beginning to end, and attendance and participation will comprise a major part of students’ grades.
