Duke - Northwestern - Texas IO Theory Conference

The Departments of Economics and Business Schools at Duke and UT-Austin, and the Center for the Study of Industrial Organization (CSIO) at Northwestern University announce the fifth in a series of annual jointly sponsored conferences focusing on theoretical work in industrial organization.  The conference is intended to serve as a forum for presentation and discussion of current research in theoretical industrial organization, with a special emphasis on work by younger scholars.

The conference will be held this year at Northwestern University, at the Jacobs Center, starting at 8:30am on Saturday, September 30 and ending at 12pm on Sunday, October 1, 2006.  (There will also be a welcoming reception on Friday, September 29 from 7:30 - 9:30pm.)

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in Evanston.  To make a reservation, contact the hotel at 847-475-6400.  Tell them that you are making a reservation for the "Industrial Organization Conference."   The block of rooms will be held until August 28, 2006

We will be providing a conference lunch and dinner for all attendees on Saturday, September 30. 

Please notify us by August 15, 2006 at csio@northwestern.edu if you plan on attending, so that we may plan on the correct number of attendees.
