Earth and Planetary Sciences. PhD. University of Michigan. Professor Jacobson’s research focuses on radiogenic isotope geochemistry, aqueous geochemistry, and geomicrobiology. His current projects focus on the geochemistry of Alaskan rivers and soils trying to develop new proxies for tracking Arctic climate change. Teaches Earth 101 Earth Systems Revealed.
