Interdisciplinary Committee on Evolutionary Processes (ICEP)
The Interdisciplinary Committee on Evolutionary Processes (ICEP) was established to bring together scholars and students who share common interests in processes that have lead to the origin of the universe and the origins and diversity of life on earth and elsewhere in the universe.
ICEP will foster collaborative projects, stimulate intellectual exchange, and formalize interactions among undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty of several departments within WCAS, other schools within the University, and collaborating institutions within the greater Chicago area. ICEP will offer a Minor in the Study of Evolutionary Processes (MSEP). The interdisciplinary nature of the Minor will provide a mechanism for undergraduate students to gain knowledge of evolutionary processes from a variety of perspectives by interacting with members from several departments within a structured curriculum.
