Department Assistants (CASDAS)

CASDAS, College of Arts and Sciences Department Assistants, is a group of WCAS administrative department assistants who believe in sharing our knowledge so that everyone can accomplish their duties more efficiently and effectively.

CASDAS members, will find a wealth of helpful information on our website. You can sign up for our listserv, access our Help List that keeps you connected to important administrative information, and read the minutes (under construction) of our monthly meetings.   You can also view the CASDAS Bylaws by clicking here.

CASDAS holds meetings throughout the school year, featuring guest speakers from various departments on campus including the Registrar's Office, Office of Studies, College Advisors, Facilities Management, Purchasing Services, and Weinberg Technical Services. Discussions range from how to implement policies and procedures, information on university systems, as well as participation in policy decisions.
