MINOR > Requirements
The minor program in business institutions requires the successful completion (as indicated by receipt of a grade of C- or above) of prerequisite or core requirements and elective courses.
New curricular rules go into effect for ALL students entering Northwestern University September 2010. Weinberg College rules permit students to graduate under any set of requirements in effect during their years at Northwestern. Consequently, students who enter Northwestern prior to Fall 2010 may choose to graduate under the previous requirements or under the new requirements.
The program director may approve courses given in a particular year as substitutions for the elective courses when the syllabus demonstrates a business institutions emphasis.
Students are encouraged to take courses outside their major to fulfill the requirements for the minor in business institutions. Courses to be counted toward the minor may not be taken on the Pass/No (P/N) Credit option. Students may count one internship-related credit and no more than two Professional Linkage (394) credits.
